Die 21. Ennstal-Classic fand vom 18. – 20. July 2013 statt.
Mehr als 200 Autos Bj 1924 – 1972 starteten wieder unter dem Motto „Autofahren im letzten Paradies“ und bei traumhaften Wetter durch das schöne Ennstal und der umliegenden Region Schladming-Dachstein. Das Top Auto der diesjährigen Ennstal-Classic war ein Ferrari 225S Spider Vignale von 1952.
Neu und eine separate Veranstaltung war mit 31 Teilnehmern die RACECAR-TROPHY welche für Rennwagen, Prototypen und GT oder Rallye-Cars ins Leben gerufen wurde – z.B.: ein Lancia Stratos und Autos mit mehr als 800 PS begeisterten die Zuschauer.
Zum zweiten Mal sponsert nun unser Club gemeinsam mit Jaguar Austria die Jaguar Trophy für das bestplatzierte Jaguar-Team.
Die Rally startete mit der bereits legendären Sonderprüfung auf den Stoderzinken und weiter mit insgesamt 400km und weiteren Sonderprüfungen wie den Red Bull Ring. Am Ende des Tages waren 2 XK’s unter den Top Ten. Am zweiten Tag wurde der Marathon mit 500km bestritten und am dritten Tag beendete der Chopard Grand Prix die 21. Ennstal-Classic. Und auch heuer holten sich wieder Helmut Schramke und Peter Umfahrer (Gesamtsieger der Ennstal-Classic 2012) die begehrte Jaguar Trophy auf Jaguar XK 150 DHC.
Nicht nur die Autos waren die Stars dieser Veranstaltung auch die vielen Motorsportlegenden wie Sir Stirling Moss, Jo Ramirez (18 Jahre Team Manager von McLaren), Teddy Pilette (Gewinner der F5000 Championship und Gewinner des 24h Rennen Spa in den 70er), Maria Teresa De Filippis (erste Frau in der F1 in den 50er), machen diese Veranstaltung immer wieder zu einem Erlebnis.
Im nächsten Jahr werden wir wieder die Jaguar Trophy bei der Ennstal-Classic verleihen.

[:en]Jaguar Trophy at the Ennstal Classic
The 21th Ennstal-Classic has taken place on the 18th – 19th of July.
More than 200 cars from 1924 to 1972, started with the motto „driving in the last paradise“ and wonderful weather trough the famous Ennstal and the intire region Schladming–Dachstein. The Top Car of this Ennstal-Classic was a Ferrari 225S Spider Vignale from 1952.
New and a seperate competition with 31 participats was the RACECAR-TROPHY which is for Racing Cars, Prototypes and GT or Rallye-Cars up to1982, for example a Lancia Stratos and cars with more than 800 HP enthused the spactators.
The second time our club together with Jaguar Austria sponsored the Jaguar Trophy for the best classified Jaguar team. The rally started with a hill climb to the Stoderzinken to hit a target time. In the evening after about 400 km on day one ended with two XK Jaguar teams classified under the top ten. Day two with the 500 km Marathon and after day three with the CHOPARD Grand Prix at the end the team Helmut Schramke and Peter Umfahrer (the overall winner oft he Ennstal-Classic 2012) driving Jaguar XK 150 DHC won again the Jaguar Tropy – Congratulations!
As the cars being the real stars of this event there also have been many race stars form previous and current years participating the rally event: Sir Stirling Moss, Jo Ramirez (18 years team Manager of McLaren), Teddy Pilette (winner oft he F5000 Championship and winner oft he 24h Race Spa in the 70ies), Maria Teresa De Filippis (the first woman in the F1 in the 50ies) and many others.
Next year we will sponsor again the Jaguar Trophy at the Ennstal Classic to celebrate the best classified Jaguar team.
