20 Jaguar Teams on the 20th October with 20 degrees– in the afternoon

This year the season closing tour was scheduled quit late; but we were lucky with the weather. We met in the early morning hours for a casual outdoor breakfast in the foggy Vienna Prater. We started our tour through the ‘Wiener Wald’ in a mystic autumn light made out of colored trees and an improving sun starting to win against the fog. At the garden market ‘Lederleitner’ in Atzenbrugg we stopped for coffee and cake, to continue later to the sunny Melk and the Wachau circuit. On the race circuit we had the opportunity to race our classic Jags. Some have been shown real talent and were real ambitious in pushing their cars around the circuit. Before we continued we had a small buffet in the pits.

So we headed to the mountains under brilliant sun and lovely warm weather conditions, it actually was one of the last nice autumn days and we could really enjoy cruising all the way long to the restaurant ‘Steirereck’ at Pogusch. At Steirereck we were expected from two E-type teams from Styria. In the last sunlight we were served outside ‘Schilcher Sturm’ and ‘Wurzelspeck’ to finish the day with a fantastic dinner. Some staid over night and also enjoyed a delightful tour back the next day. Many thanks to our organisation team Gerhard and Martina Arlt and all participants who made this event a perfect day.
